Fall comes twice. Did you know that?
There’s meteorological fall—that’s on Sept. 1, always on Sept. 1. And then there’s astronomical fall, or the “equinox” I learned to call it as a girl. That date moves from year to year, and this year it arrived on Sept. 22—the morning before I shot this video.
But that’s not the only pleasure of the season.
